Colonel Khamis Mosbah Ghachich Al Murar, Director General of the Ports and Airports Security Department at Abu Dhabi Police said that the police leadership has been dedicating great attention to training police staff members. This helped the police institution steadily evolve and thrive, so as to keep abreast of all modern developments, based on international best standards.
These remarks were made by Colonel Al Murar, while attending the graduation of 47 participants who completed three specialized courses at the Ports Security Institute. The courses included: Detection and Security Inspection using computer based simulation training (CBT); Airport Crisis Management; and Basic Airport Security. The ceremony was attended by a number of officers and officials from the Abu Dhabi Police and Abu Dhabi Airport Customs.
Colonel Al Murar said: "Organizing continuous courses reflects the Strategy of Abu Dhabi Police to improve the skills and competencies of its human resources, in order to promote security and safety in the country. The institute has always strived to provide high-end training to staff members from different service departments, as well as participants from sisterly and friend countries. A number of employees from the Abu Dhabi International Airport’s Customs and the Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) took part in these courses, along with 4 trainees from Lebanon.”
At the end of the ceremony, Al Murar distributed the certificates to the graduates, wishing them success and progress in their career. He also called upon them to show loyalty and dedication in the service of their country.
