Rexton Technologies officially inaugurated its new facilities with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held by H.E. Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry and H.E. Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director of Saif Zone & Hamriyah Freezone with Lalu Samuel, CMD of Kingston Holdings & Rexton Technologies in the presence of H.E. Paul Kavanagh, the Ambassador of Ireland to UAE & H.E. Nimisha Jayant Madhvani, the Ambassador of Uganda to UAE, Representative of the Australian Consulate & Indian Consulate, a number of high level Sharjah Government officials, Dignitaries, JV partners from UK, Hong Kong & Distributors all over Middle East & Africa.
The new LED facility set-up with a total investment of over AED 50 million includes a fully integrated & advanced manufacturing unit that is spread across 125,000 sq.ft manufacturing area and boasts a 3000 sq.ft state-of-the-art testing Lab that specializes in LED Light fittings.
As Rexton gears up for providing local and global customers with highly customized lighting solutions for domestic, commercial, industrial & special application lighting; the manufacturing facility & Lab will also provide advanced testing facility for customers who wish to evaluate the quality of their LED products.
The new Corporate Office incorporates eco-friendly techniques, green building concept, fitted with double glazed black colour glass, Insulated Blocks walls, insulated roofing and external walls covered by composite, white aluminum cladding & green surroundings, PIR, light level sensors and a very advanced Chiller unit which detects human presence to activate the Air conditioning
The esteemed dignitaries at the Inaugural function also included H.E. Waleed AbdelRahman Bukhatir - Vice Chairman of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and our JV Partners, Mr. Michael Lam - Executive Director, GP Industries Limited, Mr. Mark Abbott - Managing Director, Ansell Lighting.
All the guests were given a guided facility tour of the newly set-up manufacturing facility showcasing complete demonstration of the ultra-modern equipment & technology used at various stages of production.
Both the facilities reinforce commitment of Rexton Technologies to contribute towards the green movement by developing more energy efficient & intelligent products thus pushing the innovation boundaries.
