Landmark Occasion for Al Zahia Delivering Its 200th Home
Sharjah’s first master planned community sees the completion of its Al Jouri neigbourhood

Sharjah Holding PJSC, a strategic partnership between the government of Sharjah and Majid Al Futtaim Properties, announced that Al Zahia, Sharjah’s first master planned integrated residential community, has delivered its 200th home as part of the Al Jouri neighbourhood handover which commenced earlier this year.
Structured in the form of seven individually designed neighbourhoods, Al Zahia is handing over 199 homes as part of the ongoing delivery of phase two of the Al Jouri neighbourhood, bringing the total number of homes in the neighbourhood to 250. Specifically designed to meet the needs of the whole family, the Al Jouri neighbourhood boasts a number of top-tier amenities including a children’s playground, two parks, integrated footpaths and a basketball court.
Commenting on the milestone, Hawazen Esber, CEO of Communities at Majid Al Futtaim Properties, said: “The delivery of our 200th home, as part of the second handover, asserts our solid commitment to the development of the Al Zahia community and the neighbourhoods within it. The handover not only represented a landmark occasion for Al Zahia but was also a memorable event for the families joining the community.
