The Ministry of Interior’s council, hosted by UAE national Mohammed bin Bakhit El Ketbi in Al Ain, discussed the “Role of National Service and its Impact on Personal Development”.  The council is part of a series of awareness councils organized by the Law Respect Culture Bureau, in cooperation with the Security Media Department at the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

The host of the council, Mohammed Bakhit Al Ketbi, stressed that national service is one of the most important topics that is addressed by the councils. “National service nurtures the concept of positive patriotism amongst future generations. It represents an honorable way to reflect the importance of embodying the values of loyalty and giving back to the homeland,” he said.

(BUSINESS WIRE) - La confiance chez les dirigeants d'entreprise en Afrique a chuté à son plus bas niveau depuis Octobre 2009 au du deuxième trimestre  de 2015. L’indice de confiance Global Pulse de la YPO pour l'Afrique, qui piste les niveaux de confiance des PDG dans la région sur une base trimestrielle, a chuté de 3,2 points pour atteindre 57,4 points, à la suite d'une forte baisse de la confiance dans l'Afrique du Sud.

(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Confidence amongst business leaders in Africa fell to its lowest level since October 2009 in the second quarter of 2015. The YPO Global Pulse Confidence Index for Africa, which tracks CEO confidence levels in the region on a quarterly basis, slipped 3.2 points to 57.4, on the back of a sharp drop in confidence in South Africa.

After rebounding 1.3 points in the first quarter of 2015, confidence in Africa now trails the global composite reading of 60.9 by 3.5 points. Africa is the world’s second-most pessimistic region, with only CEOs in Latin America less positive.

The summer events for the Friends of the Police Program kicked off on Sunday, and will continue through August 13th.
