Lieutenant General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior, met a number of Arab police leaders at the Ministry of Interior on Tuesday. The Arab police delegation is attending the UAE Search and Rescue Team’s Classification, which is being held from December 16th to 18th in Abu Dhabi.
The Arabic delegation included Lt. General Talal Abdullah Al Kofahi, Director General of the Jordanian Civil Defense; Major General Abdullah Al Ghanam, Director General of Civil Defense in Saudi Arabia; and Major General Yusuf Al Ansari, Director General of the Fire Brigade in Kuwait. The Delegation also comprised Colonel Abdul Aziz Rashid Al Amer, Director of Training Institute at Civil Defense in the Kingdom of Bahrain; Colonel Salem bin Yahya Al Hanai, Assistant Director General of Oman Civil Defense; and Captain Khamis Mohammad Al Muraikhi, International Liaison Officer from Qatar.
Various issues of common interest were discussed during the meeting. The attendees also reviewed the methods of promoting collaboration and coordination between the UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Kingdom of Bahrain, Sultanate of Oman, Qatar, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Central Operations at Abu Dhabi Police Headquarters, attended the meeting, along with Colonel Adel Abdullah Al Nuaimi, the Accompanying Officer, and Lt. Colonel Zayed Muhammed Al Hajiri, Head of the Organizing Committee, who welcomed the delegation.
