The Victims Affairs Office at the Crisis and Disasters Management Department affiliated to the Directorate General of Central operations at Abu Dhabi Police celebrated the graduation of the second practical application course on disaster victims’ identification. The one-week course was attended by 15 officers from the various departments.
The course focused on honing the practical and applied skills of trainees in identifying disasters and mass casualty incidents’ victims. It comes in line with the police leadership’s commitment to develop and leverage cutting-edge techniques to boost the security and safety of the community.
The course included theoretical lectures and practical courses, in addition to data, and procedures related to international protocols applied by the International Police Organization (Interpol). It also provided trainees with accurate information on the guidelines of disaster victims' identification.
Colonel Mohammed Ali Al Dallal, Deputy Chairman of the Victims Affairs Office Committee distributed certificates to the graduates, in the presence of Captain Ali Al Muhairi, Director of the Victims Affairs Office, and Lieutenant Adnan Ali Al Hosani, Director of the Training Branch.
