In its sixth meeting for 2013, the Federal Civil Defense Sector Development Council, headed by Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, chairman of the council, discussed the proposed plan to set up strategic planning workshops for the Civil Defense sector. The meeting also tackled the need to qualify safety and prevention engineers for international accreditation by the National Fire Protection Association.
The council also discussed a number of topics listed on the agenda; appropriate decisions were taken accordingly.
The meeting, held at the conference room at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, was attended by Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Central Operations at Abu Dhabi Police, member of the council, as well as the council members and a number of officers.
