Major General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Director General of Human Resources at Abu Dhabi Police GHQ visited on Tuesday morning the Ministry of Interior’s pavilion at the GITEX Exhibition 2013. Al Menhali was given a detailed overview of the services, smart and security software offered by the Ministry of Interior to the public, on display at the exhibition.
Major General Al Menhali toured some of the exhibition’s pavilions, where he got acquainted with the latest offerings provided by the various ministries, local departments and other major companies participating in the exhibition.
Al Menhali stressed the keenness of the Ministry of Interior to participate annually in the exhibition, to acquaint visitors with the technological, security and smart services used by the police, review the latest innovative technologies in various fields and leverage the experiences of participating entities.
The Director General of Human Resources expressed his satisfaction for the significant public turnout. Moreover, he praised the broad participation of the Ministry of Interior and the various e-services and programs it offers to the public. "This is a modern tool of communication between the police and community members at various times,” noted Al Menhali, commending the efforts of the pavilion’s staff.
"The Ministry's participation in the exhibition and the new services it showcased were a distinguished opportunity for visitors to get a closer look at the projects, systems and services provided by the ministry via the internet. The exhibition also allows the ministry to survey members of the public’s views and comments with respect to the services offered to them, as well as their proposals for improvement.
The ministry’s pavilion witnessed a significant turnout from experts, partners and members of the public, who overviewed the services provided by the ministry during GITEX Technology Week 2013; in light of the significant developments taking place in the digital world.
Notably, the Ministry of Interior’s various headquarters and directorates general are keen to launch further smart and e-services based on state-of-the-art technology, with a view to streamline administrative procedures and allow access to customers anytime, anywhere.
