The Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi organized the 5th meeting of the "You are the Foundation” initiative for career development. The Directorate General launched this initiative recently to urge staff members to demonstrate further innovation and excellence in their work areas.
Colonel Salim Ali Al Qattam Al Zaabi, Director General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi, met with a group of staff members from the various departments and sections of the directorate general in Abu Dhabi. During this meeting, he emphasized that this initiative is intended to instill the spirit of justice within employees, listen to their perspectives, proposals, and endeavor to develop work with them.
He also underscored the importance of reinforcing their sense of loyalty and belonging, developing their creative potential, motivating them to exert further excellence and innovation, providing creative ideas and constructive proposals, coping with work pressures, and improving customer service and reception in order to give an outstanding image of their institution.
"This initiative is in line with the police leadership’s directives to activate communication, interaction, and motivation among employees. It also underscores the commitment of the Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi to communicate and interact with staff members to identify their needs, level of job satisfaction, and knowledge of regulations regarding the daily workflow,” Colonel Al Zaabi commented.
"We must listen to staff members carefully to learn their perspective and work needs. We must also work to break down barriers between the employers and employees and improve work in order to provide excellent services to customers,” he noted.
