The Al Ain Police Officers Club organized a health program in collaboration with Oasis Hospital that includes many medical events in order to spread the health culture among police staff and those affiliated with the police.
The program covered comprehensive tests for measuring blood pressure, diabetes, lung performance, and the body mass index (BMI) under the supervision of a medical staff.
Colonel Mohammed Suhail Al Rashidi, Deputy Director of Al Ain Police Directorate, launched the program’s activities, toured the participating hospital stands, and carried out a number of medical examinations. He stressed the importance of organizing such medical events as they spread health awareness among the Police General Headquarters’ staff.
At the end of his tour, Al Rashidi honored the Oasis Hospital management with a commemorative shield and expressed the Al Ain Police Officers Club’s thankfulness for their contribution to raising health awareness among the staff.
For his part, Colonel Hareb Khamis Al Khaili, Deputy Head of Clubs Department at Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, indicated that this initiative is an embodiment of the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters commitment to disseminate the culture of health and proper nutrition to its staff.
Al Khaili pointed out that the club seeks to strengthen partnerships with community organizations in order to exchange experiences and take advantage of what these institutions offer as beneficial services to both parties, stressing the continuity of cooperation with Oasis Hospital in the coming years.
The two-day program saw a high number of visitors from the Al Ain Police staff, who conducted a variety of medical tests and praised the event organizers acknowledging this event’s impact on their health.
