No Criminal Suspicion

According to preliminary investigations conducted by Abu Dhabi Police, there was no criminal foul play related to the death of the patient who fell to his death from an Abu Dhabi hospital window.

Major Hamad Abdullah Al Afari, Head of Operations Affairs in Al Shaabiya Police Station affiliated to the Capital Police Directorate, indicated that the Operations Room received notification on Sunday morning reporting the death of a 38-year old African man.  "Police teams immediately rushed to the incident’s site; initial inspection of the site showed the presence of a corpse in the grass near the hospital,” he said.
