In collaboration with the Fatwa center, the Public Relations Committee at the Air Wing Department of the Abu Dhabi Police, organized a religious lecture, titled "Ramadan, Month of Goodness". The lecture, delivered by preacher Dr. Anas Al Kassar, from the Fatwa Center, was held at the Air Wing Department and attended by a number of officers and staff members.
This lecture is part of a series of lectures organized by the Air Wing Department, in line with the spirituality of the holy month of Ramadan. It aims to enhance and disseminate religious awareness among staff members; acquaint them with religious values, and remind them of the importance of humanitarian work, good deeds and charity during this holy month.
The lecturer also tackled the virtues of Ramadan, and the need to get closer to Allah through benevolent work. "When the month of Ramadan comes, the Gates of Heaven are thrown open and the Gates of Hell are shut, and the devils are put behind bars,” he said.
Furthermore, he emphasized the need to fear and respect Allah, calling on people to take advantage of this holy month by practicing good manners.
