The Al Ain Police Directorate honored the entities that took part in organizing the summer program for police officers’ children attended by more than 28 pupils from preparatory and elementary schools.
Colonel Mohammad Suhail Al Rashidi, Deputy Director of the Al Ain Police Directorate, lauded the efforts exerted to prepare this year's program, which achieved the coveted goals and aspirations of occupying the children’s leisure time with purposeful activities. It is noteworthy that the summer activities program closing ceremony, which was held at the Al Ain Police Officers Club Theatre, was attended by a number of officers, parents and students.
In a speech delivered on behalf of Colonel Hareb Khamis Al Khaili, Deputy Head of Clubs Department at Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, Captain Abdullah Al Tawir Al Ameri noted that the Police Leadership dedicates great attention to the community-based events and programs aimed to serve the society, particularly school students during the summer vacation.
"The program included a wide variety of educational, cultural, religious, sports, and entertaining activities that have contributed to enhance the skills and abilities of participants, and provide them with experiences, as well as new information and knowledge. We credit the success of the program to the diligent cooperation of many entities, including the Al Ain Police Directorate (Public Affairs Section); the Security Inspection Department; the Traffic Institute; the Transportation and Public Works Department; and Dar Zayed for Family Care”, pointed out Captain Al Ameri quoting Colonel Al Khaili.

Concluding, Colonel Al Khaili expressed his thanks and gratitude to all entities and organizations participating in the summer programs and to Al Ain Police Officers Club employees for their contribution to the success of the program. Al Khaili also thanked the police officers, parents of the students for supporting and encouraging their children.
On the same note, student Saud Suleiman Al Dhaheri delivered a speech on behalf of the students who took part in the program. Moreover, he expressed his thanks and gratitude to the summer program organizers, as well as to all the individuals and entities who have contributed to the success of the summer activities, wishing to see the program continue and flourish in the coming years.
Moreover, marking this occasion, the creative child, Shamma Al Kaabi recited a poem, which expresses her thanks to the Police Leadership for its considerable attention for children. She also lauded the efforts of the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, represented by Al Ain Police Directorate, to organize such events and contribute to their success.
