The Community Police Department at Abu Dhabi Police took part in a workshop organized recently by the United Nations Office, in collaboration with the Jordanian Police. The workshop was held in Oman, Jordan, under the theme "Effective Police Services Provided at the Al Zaatari Refugee Camp in Jordan”.   Attending the workshop, were representatives of United Nations Offices in Jordan, Egypt and Lebanon; as well as officers and members of the Jordanian Police working in the Al Zaatari Refugee Camp in Jordan.   Lt. ADP Continues Celebrations for International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking

For the second consecutive day, the Abu Dhabi Police continues its celebrations of the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking under the slogan: "Accompany Who Accompanies You… and No to Drugs.” These celebrations of the Abu Dhabi Police fall under the larger UAE celebrations for this same event, which are celebrated annually on a global scale on 26 June.

To mark this occasion, the Western Police Directorate at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, inaugurated an awareness exhibition on Wednesday morning. It aims to raise awareness among the public on the dangers of poisonous drugs, as well as its negative impact on families and the community.

 The Punitive Reformatory Establishments Department at Abu Dhabi Police celebrated the graduation of 21 officers and 17 constables from the 11th specialized training course on methods of dealing with detainees and convicts for officers (Level 1).

Colonel Mohammed Saif Al Zaabi, Director of the Punitive Reformatory Establishments at the Abu Dhabi Police, underscored the keenness of the police leadership to provide its staff with the best education and training.
