Community Police Department takes Part in Al Sila School’s Celebrations

The Abu Dhabi Community Police Department took part in the ceremonies organized by Al Sila School in the Western Region to mark the end of the academic year and to bid farewell to the school’s fifth grade students.

During the ceremony, the Department of Social Relations and Guidance at the Community Police Department, presented a documentary as well as a number of awareness performances featuring the media figure, Jassem Obeid, the well-known teddy bear character. These performances, organized in collaboration with the Community Police Department at the Western Region Police Station, acquainted students with the Police Community’s various functions, duties, and objectives; it also underscored its positive impact on community members. Obeid also highlighted the community police members’ commitment to reflecting the humanitarian aspect of society and providing assistance to enhance the security and stability that is witnessed in the country in all fields. The program also included a patriotic song promoting a sense of belonging to the homeland.

Students and their parents, who attended the ceremony, enjoyed the program and praised the teddy bear’s performances; the teddy bear called upon students to honor their parents, obey them, and heed their advice.

At the end of the ceremony, Mrs. Saida Al Hammadi, the school director, distributed certificates of recognition to top achievers among the fifth grade students as well as the student members of the Red Crescent in the school.
