The Police Operations Directorate General at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, represented by the Community Police "Peripheral Areas” Department, along with the municipality of Abu Dhabi City, participated in the Partners Forum held at Mohammed bin Zayed City in Abu Dhabi. The Forum tackled the various issues and problems faced by the people of the region, and the relevant solutions proposed by the concerned strategic partners to overcome such issues. .
Brigadier Amir Mohammed Al Muhairi, Deputy Director General of Police Operations at Abu Dhabi Police underscored the keenness of the Police to assume its main task to spread security and stability in the residential areas across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. This is achieved through the various police stations and community police officers available to meet the needs of community members and respond to their societal and security-related inquiries; thus contributing to prevalence of security and confidence in the services provided by the police; and enhancing security efforts.
"The police leadership spares no efforts to meet the residential areas’ needs by establishing comprehensive police stations in all regions, to ensure easy access by the public to all security or societal matters related to police work”, added Brigadier Al Muhairi.
It is noteworthy that Abu Dhabi Police GHQ works in coordination with other entities to accomplish and maintain a safer community. It seeks to preserve stability, reduce crime and eliminate feelings of fear and insecurity, as well as providing justice to all the public.
Moreover, the Directorate’s vision is to become the most effective police force in the field, responding to the needs of society with the highest level of integrity and training.
